Windshield Washer - 1954 Pontiac
I picked up a new aftermarket windshield washer reservoir and pump for next to nothing at a local farmer's supply called Princess Auto. It came with a nifty bracket that the reservoir slides onto.

Washer reservoir mounted against radiator support
The reservoir fit perfectly on the driver's side rad support. The next step was to route the hoses to the windshield sprayers. The reservoir came with clear plastic hose which just looked wrong for a 1954 automobile. Black rubber hose looked much better.

Washer hose is routed alongside the wiring loom
I routed the washer hose alongside the electrical wiring loom and used pull ties to secure it. The hose goes along the driver's side wheel well and over the master cylinder.

Washer hose meets the hood
At the firewall, I secured the washer hose with a tubing/hose/wire clamp. It worked quite well. I left a little bit of slack in the hose with the hood fully open and then secured the hose on the hood brace using another clamp. A tee is used to split the hose to the two sprayers.

Washer hose runs along the back of the hood
I used 4 clamps to hold the washer hose along the back of the hood. It turned out quite nice. The black hose and black clamps disappear in the black of the hood interior. It looks like I know what I'm doing!

Chrome plastic windshield washer spayer
I picked up a pair of chrome plastic windshield washer sprayers at the local parts store for about $4.00 and that's about what they are worth. I don't have too much faith that they will last. They look pretty good but they are made pretty cheap. Next time I'm at the wreckers, I 'll look to see what's available that is made of metal. You are supposed to use the specially supplied tool to direct the spray. When I tested one out, the sprayer fell out! I pushed it back in but haven't tried it to see if it will pop out the first time I use it!
