Accessing Voice Mail through the Web Interface

Accessing Voice Mail through the Web Interface

First step is to point your web browser at your Asterisk PBX server. The FreePBX basic menu should appear:

Select Voicemail and Recordings

Use your extension for the username and the voice mail password (not the secret password) setup when the extension was made.

Next you will see the voice mail user screen, which is pretty self explanatory

The Call Monitor option lets you see what calls were made on your extension

The Phone Features option lets you configure some basic options for your extension.

The Follow Me option allows you to configure the Follow Me features if it was enabled (it isn't in the picture - sigh!)

The Settings option allows the user to set some basic parameters like the voice mail password and email notification
