Study Tips
Here are some useful tips when studying for
your quizzes, tests or provincial exams.
Websites:
LearnnowBC: A useful site put
together by the province. This website
has some tools for studying and even has an online tutoring service available
nightly.
Study Buzz: A site
connected to Learn Now BC. This website
has lots of extra practice questions, and will even test you to see how well
you know the material and what you need to work on. Only available for grades 10 and 12.

Tips:
Read the notes.
Redo the examples, quizzes
and/or a selection of the homework problems.
Always mark the
problems. Do more of the same topic if
the problem is wrong or not completely understood.
Ask
questions where necessary!
It is always best to spread
the studying over several days. Do not
leave your studying until the night before!
Make yourself a study
schedule that incorporates studying each day.
Study in a small group.
Have a Math Party! Take turns explaining
questions to each other.
Study as much as it takes to reach your goal.
Be well rested and nourished before writing a test.
